October 2026 pivot. Doozer stops generating a different-looking unofficial "website" per business and builds one uniform, app-like, source-cited page that gets better as data and people arrive. Official sites become something the owner builds with Doozer, by choice. Covers what is live, the loop from search to memory, postcards, owner-built sites, data sources, and the rules that keep it honest.
"Let's continue with doozer.site turning into the best single page for a business on the
Internet. The most accurate information, the most taste applied, the most care given. We
want to spend our resources making the content and context the best it can be, rather than
figuring out how to make each page look different."
"No more fake unofficial websites. No more confusion. Doozer builds because, and that
hasn't changed."
"Doozer is a platform that could not have existed without AI. It is a new form of using
existing technology... the websites were holding it back."
What changes: the per-business Muse design (100 families, generated looks) stops being the product. Every business gets the same frame, an app that knows the place, and all the effort goes into what fills it: accurate facts with sources, real photos, real people, live state. A visitor learns the page once and it works everywhere.
What does not change: Doozer builds because. Pure intent, no dark patterns, remove when asked, every fact traceable.
includes/business-app.php (renderBusinessAppPage) is THE page on every root listed in platform_settings.app_page_roots (default doozer.site, 10,052 pages). Elsewhere it is a ?ui=app preview (noindex). ?ui=classic shows the old page. A Keeper's paid bespoke site keeps its design.

"The new mission of Doozer.work is to KNOW a business. LEARN a business. search, scrape,
download, evaluate, connect." (Jon)
includes/the-one.php. Learn: theOneLearnLinks() reads the business's own website copy ($0, no AI) for every link and claim it makes about itself (social, reviews elsewhere, ordering, booking, tickets, BBB, Chambers, associations, certifications; "since 1980", "licensed and insured"), stored on custom_settings.the_one, profiles bound in Magellan (site_link). Runs on every facts read. Know: theOneProfile() = 13 parts (where, reach, hours, reputation, photos, what it sells, story, events, social, order and book, credentials, people, owner), each known / partial / not found yet with its source, plus a score. The page shows a "Doozer knows N%" chip, a knowledge card and Around the web. Rules: a link on their site is THEIR claim, never our verification; domain-boundary matching (chase.com is not ASE); badge images are evidence, not links; vendor links are not the business.
doozer.work is rebuilt around this (includes/doozer-work-home.php): "Doozer knows local business", a real One page as the example, the 13 parts as the Doozer lattice filled by live network coverage (theOneNetworkStats()), and owners (claim free now; official website built together, coming next). Add a business no longer designs a Muse.
Not yet reachable for free: BBB and association profiles that a business does not link itself, emails, other directories. Those need web search; candidate gateway: treg.to (pay-per-call search / SERP / extraction / email finding). Needs Jon's account and key.
The verified owner (implicit verification) sees an owner bar and an Edit your page panel on their own One page (includes/the-one-owner.php): gaps ranked by worth, hours, phone/website, their story, what they offer, links (add theirs, mark learned ones "Not ours"), photos (live at once), their 30-day numbers and a counter QR. The owner is a source like any other (tag O, dated) and outranks what Doozer read. Claim, the avatar menu and the Manage page all land here (#owner-gaps). Preview any page as its owner: dz one ownerpreview=1 id=.
"A search for Coffee Near Me turns into a check-in, turns into meeting the owner and taking
a selfie, turns into a memory — a wuz — where other people can connect, because their
receipt was logged to logfile.me... The user with only the receipt may be in the background
of the selfie taken by the other person."
if both say yes.
Live today: steps 1, 2 and the private half of 4 (trail + notes). Building next: photos on a check-in, receipts (logfile.me), the wuz object, and the mutual connection.
The rule for step 5 (non-negotiable): connection is mutual opt-in. Doozer never tells anyone that a specific stranger was near them, never identifies faces in photos, never reveals a person from a receipt. It can say "someone else who was here at 3pm on Saturday also chose to be findable for this moment" and let both people decide. A memory platform that surprises people with who saw them is the dark pattern we promised never to build.
Postcards continue, with a new message. Not "we built you a site." Instead: here are the AI tools and methods Doozer uses to bring customers through your door, free. The page, check-ins, the trail, the QR on the counter, AI answers that cite them, the town board. Claim is free; it unlocks confirming facts, photos, and talking back.
The claimed owner gets Create a Website for Your Business, with FREE and paid tiers. Not generated on the fly: designed in an interactive studio where the owner works with the AI builder. Hosted by Doozer through a simple DNS change on the owner's own domain, with the whole ecosystem's context built in (the facts, the trail, events, the town). Everything with the owner's approval, their assistance, and, for paid tiers, their money. That is when a site becomes official: when its owner made it. Doozer+ continues.
Have: Google Places (facts, reviews, photos), the business's own site (source facts, menus by review), JSON-LD sameAs, public calendars, Ticketmaster venues, weather, the network's own check-ins, saves and taps. Coming as people use it: photos people take, receipts (logfile.me), owner answers, "suggest an edit" corrections with history, unusual connections between places (who goes from the coffee shop to the hardware store).
Tools on hand: Jev for quick typed decisions (sorting, never writing or gating), Cloudflare workers + screenshots, Ocoya for social, fal.ai for world creation, Gaussian splats and 3D places, older channels in new ways (postcards, QR, SMS, beacons).
